The Role

CAA Sports is seeking a Departmental Assistant to support Agents and Executives within our Baseball department . The Departmental Assistant will provide administrative support, assist with the department's client servicing efforts and baseball operations needs. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and a passion for baseball.

Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support, including coordinating meetings, scheduling, booking travel, preparing expense reports, package mailing, and general office management tasks
• Assist with special projects and research related to player development and analytics
• Create presentations related to client recruiting and contract analysis
• Serve as office point of contact for clients, agents/executives and teams
• Stay up to date on the Baseball industry and emerging trends in Sports

Qualifications
• 1+ years of experience in a support role at a sports talent agency, pro or collegiate team, or marketing firm; baseball specific experience preferred
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects and expectations, and maintain a sharp focus while managing competing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients, colleagues, and business contacts at all levels
• Adept at quickly learning new processes, technology, and ability to assimilate oneself and become familiar with existing systems.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite with proficiency in Power Point
