Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Responsible for running broadcast board inclusive of digital editing, recording and maintaining network feeds.
• Protects the company's FCC license.
• May be required to perform light production work
• Implement social media strategy for WSTR
• Assist with social media planning and scheduling for cluster brands
• Assist with generation of web and social content.
• Other duties as required by management.

Qualifications

More About You:

Required & Preferred:
• Must have proficiency and knowledge of the following social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram & Twitter
• Must be a creative problem solver who understands and lives the WSTR brand
• Must perform with little supervision
• Must have familiarity with FCC rules and regulations preferred
• High school diploma required; college degree in media-related major preferred.
• Minimum 2 years previous experienced preferred
• Familiarity with station format required
