Job Summary/Description:
We are currently searching for a multi-talented, energetic, and organized team player to join Corporate Program Operations. In this role, the Corporate Program Analyst will be responsible for maintaining broadcast schedules across Gray Media. They will work closely with the station and senior management, networks, and syndicators to ensure accurate schedules. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills, work with a high level of accuracy, and be very detail-oriented.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create and manage schedules for assigned markets, coordinating with station and programming contacts, as well as network and syndicator websites.
- Accurately track all network programming preemptions.
- Continually ensure that all syndicated contracts for current and future seasons of programming are scheduled for each market.
- Monitor stations for FCC compliance with children's programming.
- Perform post-schedule verification including the addition of all breaking news and weather cut-ins to the schedules.
Other Duties as Assigned:
- Manage assigned network programming with the most updated information available.
- Add and maintain network program changes, including anticipated future programming, to WO Media Sales inventory.
- Manage assigned syndication including new show and episode creation.
- Enter syndicated contracts from term sheets or signed contracts.
- Annually review FCC children's programming reports and assist stations with children's programming requirements.
- Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A college degree in a related field is preferred.
- Previous media programming, sales, or traffic experience preferred.
- Wide Orbit Program (Whats' On), Wide Orbit Media Sales, and/or Wide Orbit Traffic software knowledge a plus.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate across multiple departments within Gray Media Group.
