Job Summary:

The Atlanta Hawks are seeking a Community Impact Coordinator to build and execute strategic work plans that achieve measurable results and optimal use of resources to develop and grow our community activations with a focus on enhancing our connection to, and role within the Greater Atlanta Community.

We are seeking someone who is both passionate about service and committed to cross-departmental collaboration and can work with corporate partners on execution of collaborative community programming.

What you will do: (Responsibilities)
• Serve as program coordinator for social responsibility programs in key focus areas and/or with corporate partners to ensure best-in-class programming
• Serve as lead on donation and community ticket program> Includes assisting with player ticket program, vetting and fielding requests, tracking inventory, data entry, producing reports and recaps, and game-night duties
• Assist in coordinating the team's year-round social responsibility calendar with a goal of collaborating and communicating across departments
• Support and/or lead CSR Team in the planning and execution of upcoming initiatives/events
• Responsible for social responsibility program recaps, working with internal stakeholders such as Brand Communications, Marketing and Corporate Partnerships
• Draft internal messaging for upcoming volunteer and giving opportunities
• Provide updates for the CSR section of Hawks.com to ensure current content and opportunities to drive engagement
• Serve as liaison to NBA communicating holistic community efforts across the Hawks organization, which includes sending summaries, recaps, photos, videos, etc.
• Develop and foster relationships with key community constituents to further integrate the team into the community
• Represent the team at local events during normal business hours, as well as weekends and after hours and when needs dictate.
• Assist with entering Community Data Entries for CSR initiatives and events
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

What we need from you: (Required Skills/Abilities)
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Works effectively and quickly in a dynamic environment
• Event planning experience or skills is preferred
• Ability to work with internal and external clients with a positive customer service-oriented attitude
• Strong ability to handle pressure situations, apply analytical skills and take proactive efforts to problem solve
• Highly organized self-starter who can work well across departments to fill this role
• Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and at all job levels
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Education and Experience:
• Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years related experience, specifically community relations, non-profit or sports industry required
• Bachelor's degree required in Sports Administration, Business, Communications, or related field, Postgrad degree is a plus

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift, push, pull, carry 25lbs or more
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended periods of time
