The Amazon Music EU Brand team is looking for a marketing leader to manage brand marketing campaigns that drive awareness and interest for Amazon Music. You will own the strategic planning, management, oversight, and tracking of cross-channel marketing campaigns for Amazon Music, including Mass-Ads and Partnerships (internal or external). As the Music business grows, the Brand team is looking to establish strong relationships with Amazon partner teams to deliver against the vision of a unified entertainment offer, placing Amazon Music at the heart of meaningful collaborations with teams such as Prime Video, Audible, Amazon Fashion, Amazon Retail, etc. You will develop an acute understanding of our brand positioning as the team is also responsible for ensuring our tenets and best practices are applied to the variety of campaigns delivered throughout the year. You will work with a cross-functional team and a wide range of internal stakeholders, including our Head of Brand & Social Marketing, Industry Relations, Go-to-Market, Product, PR, Media, Creative Studio, International, Regional and Executive leadership as well as external creative, social and media agencies. This is an individual contributor role.
The ideal candidate is a strong campaign manager who is customer obsessed, highly organized, detail-oriented, and excited to work in a fast-paced environment. They collaborate well with cross-functional partners across local, regional and global Amazon Music teams and are comfortable generating cross-team support for new campaigns. They have strong ownership, relevant experience, demonstrated strengths in using data to inform business strategy and making the appropriate recommendations to leadership based on customer insights.
Key job responsibilities
• You will work with internal partner teams within Amazon (Prime Video, Prime Gaming, Amazon Fashion, Audible, Amazon Stores … etc.) to deliver cross-functional integrations on priority projects
• You will oversee the execution and implementation of Brand Partnerships deliverables, including creative RFPs, project tracking, development of marketing assets & experiential (if applicable), measurement and reporting, in line with the Global Partnerships Strategy
• You will manage campaigns and programs from end-to-end including briefing, budgeting, development of media plans, content planning, creative assets, marketing plans (including organic social media), production, distribution, tracking, and more. You will create documentation for campaigns and you make these available to all teams (timelines, integrated marketing plans, creative concepts, social messaging plans, etc.)
• You will build clear, distinctive, and category-defining brand campaigns that drive top of mind awareness and interest in Amazon Music across EU/ ANZ
• You will work with Measurement, Analytics and Insights team to deepen tracking and evaluate & report on the performance of campaigns
• You will lead project status meetings to ensure both local and global stakeholders are working towards the same deadlines and goals for marketing campaigns (set the agenda, create and send out the minutes/ documentation, follow up with individual team members on their action points)
• You will work very closely together with internal and external creative production partners and our media agency to set and safeguard production delivery timelines
• Communicate with the global brand team on shared priorities and attend relevant global meetings.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in professional non-internship marketing
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- You must be proficient in English both speaking and writing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience in brand marketing, content production timelines and process
- Excellent cross cultural interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal
- Experience working across multiple territories in cross-functional matrixed global organization
- Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically, going the extra mile to achieve goals
- Knowledge of the Entertainment Industry, especially Music, is a plus
