The Company

2AM is an Oscar-nominated film and television production company and talent management firm launched by Christine D'Souza Gelb, David Hinojosa, and Kevin Rowe. The company launched in early 2021 under strategic partnership with A24, with offices in LA and NYC.

The Role

2AM is currently seeking an Assistant to Founding Partner/Manager/Producer, a role to provide administrative support across one desk as well as coordinate operations for the Management Department of 2AM.

Responsibilities
• Day-to-day administrative support to Manager/Producer
• Schedule meetings, phone calls, zooms and manage calendar
• Answer, direct, and track a high volume of phone calls and phonesheet
• Liaise with clients including scheduling, accounting, as well as occasional coordination of travel, accommodation, and publicity
• Track film festivals for representation consideration
• Create grids and maintain internal databases for tracking talent, projects, incoming and outgoing submissions, and weekend read lists
• Write concise coverage of scripts, help assess a wide range of material, and provide constructive feedback to managers for representation consideration
• Provide creative notes and coordinate production logistics around prep, principal and post for a range of producing projects in film and television.
• Input contracts with payment steps and invoicing and tracking payments
• Track and submit monthly expenses for Partner/Manager

Qualifications
• At least 2 years agency or management company experience preferred
• Experience on a high volume desk and dealing with high level talent and executives
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding time management and multi-tasking skills
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

This position is overtime-eligible with a target hourly rate between $21 and $24. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting hourly rate within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training. This role includes competitive healthcare, as well as other employee benefits. This position will be a Hybrid schedule, Monday-Thursday in office, and Fridays remote.

Salary Range: $21.00 to $24.00 Per Hour ($ USD)
