Job Description
Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns, Trainees, and Finance Rotational Associates, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build on your experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.

This Spring Internship is from January through May 30th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work part-time hours (10-29 a week). Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 9-6 pm. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: The Social Media and PR department at Game Show Network plans and ideates content to provide a sense of community to our viewers, and help support programming initiatives. We engage in community management of Game Show Network's social media, source content (video and photo) that is used for Game Show Network's social media, and brainstorm ideas for fresh content and campaigns. In addition, we are responsible for pitching and handling all the press behind the launching of our new shows, including visiting the set with press opportunities and social media needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES: (Not limited to)
• Learning and implementing community management on the Game Show Network social platforms.
• Sourcing clips and content from Game Show Network shows to use for the brand's social media.
• Writing social media copy.
• Coming up with new types of content for each of the brands' social platforms.
• Keeping up to date on Game Show Network's social analytics and provide reports to team as needed.
• Working with PR team to promote current and upcoming shows
• Assist in local pitches centered on show contestants, theme episodes, and special moments.
• Helping with research and administrative tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
