Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns, Trainees, and Finance Rotational Associates, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build on your experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.This Spring Internship is from January through May 30th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work part-time hours (10-29 a week). Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 9-6 pm. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.

Global Creative Content is an internal hub for multi-discipline creative work for the Sony Pictures Entertainment marketing group. We are producers, editors, designers, writers, small and big picture thinkers focused on creating cutting edge assets that surround our entertainment properties to create lasting cultural impact. Put simply, we work with our global marketers and clients to find a creative solution to any marketing challenge.
We have a producer mindset and bring our innate sense of urgency and considerable experience to bear on any production need big or small. You can find us on film and TV sets, talent interviews, massive content days, audience reaction screenings, press junkets, events and everything in between. Capturing assets to serve the needs of our film and TV marketing and sales lifecycle is a big part of our mandate and where it all begins.
Leveraging close proximity to our IP, filmmakers and showrunners, we strategize and execute creative solutions with our captured or acquired assets ranging from; short vignettes and TV specials, motion posters, sizzle reels, talent soundbites, key art, presentation decks, TV spots, VR/AR experiences, branding packages, social assets and much more. We scale to meet the needs of the business and work with top-tier talent internally and externally to bring the highest standards to our work.
We are searching for 2 Interns. One of them will support our TV Distribution team and the other Motion Picture Group (MPG).
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MPG & TV DISTRO INTERN:
• Ideate creative content ideas with the team for Sony Pictures films and TV shows
• Learn to clearly communicate your ideas through scripting
• Find ways to adapt creative content across film, TV, and digital spaces
• Find creative film and TV content marketing that stands out to you and learn process for executing
• Assist team during production, and on set.
• Assist team with production materials needed for shoots.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR TV DISTRO INTERN:
• Available to read scripts and provide story breakdowns for the show/film
• Be available for general admin duties (order office supplies, team lunch runs, production meeting room prep, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS FOR MPG & TV DISTRO INTERN:
• Passion for film and TV
• Interest in marketing with emphasis in scripting, editing, production, and post-production
• Experience with Microsoft Office
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR DISTRO INTERN:
• General familiarity with Adobe products (Adobe Premiere or Photoshop a huge plus!)
• General interest in learning about post-production asset creation with video/editing or creative design for marketing materials
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Film/TV production, Entertainment Business Management)
The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
