Intern, Event Production
As part of our Event Production team, you will provide crucial administrative, organizational, and operational support to our dynamic project management and event production teams. Your role will span across all phases of event development, including pre-planning and coordination, onsite event execution, and post-event closeout. You'll assist with tasks such as scheduling, logistics, vendor coordination, and communication with stakeholders. Your contribution will ensure the smooth flow of events, from initial concept through to final wrap-up, helping to deliver successful and impactful experiences.
Event Production
Responsibilities
• Conduct research and gather information for event proposals and budgets including venues/locations, vendors, entertainment options and event disciplines
• Support hospitality planning an NCAA Championship and go onsite to help execute
• Secure vendor pricing for budget development
• Assist in tracking event finances by processing invoices and reconciling expenses with the event lead
• Become proficient in our Smartsheet processes including maintaining our bidding database, tracking milestones and deliverables, and updating production timelines
• Assist in all areas of vendor bidding including RFPs, Bid Comparisons, Letters of Authorization, Vendor Service Agreements and Change Orders
• Assist with site visit & event travel coordination and booking
• Execute Non-Disclosure Agreements
Qualifications
• Current student working towards Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Sports Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite | Adobe Acrobat
• Highly organized and process-oriented
• Attention to detail, carefully following instructions and checking work for accuracy
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm in high-pressure situations
• Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Good timekeeping and work ethic that is characterized by commitment, motivation, and energy
Program Details
We offer internship opportunities within our global sports and entertainment businesses, including global cultural marketing agency 160/90; sports rights management, production, and digital content leader IMG (Rights, FC Diez, Seven League); global licensing business IMG Licensing; premium hospitality and live experiences leader On Location, Professional Bull Riders (PBR), and entertainment agency WME (including WME Sports and Fashion). Locations include New York City, Nashville, St. Louis, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Dallas, Chicago, London, and Paris. All internships are in the office and in-person, unless otherwise noted.
In addition to hands-on experience and exposure to the global sports and entertainment industry, interns participate in events such as welcome/farewell sessions, a speaker series featuring company leaders, and career training workshops addressing everything from LinkedIn profile enhancement to resume building, interviewing skills, and networking.
Internships are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, or standard local working hours in the intern location.
Important Dates
• By December 13-19: Approved internships will post externally.
• January: Recruiters will kick off the recruiting process.
• February 10: Applications will be accepted through this date.
• February - March: The interview and selection process will take place.
• The program will be 10 weeks in length.
• US (June 9 - August 15)
• EMEA (June 30 – September 5)
Recruitment Process
Our process consists of four steps.
• 1. Tell us your story. In addition to your application and resume, please attach a word document and in 300 words max, share why you're interested in the role. What are the unique perspectives, abilities, and qualities you would bring to the role? What do you hope to learn?
• 2. Video Interview with a Recruiter. If selected fort he next round, you will be contacted by the recruiting team to schedule a 30- minute video interview.
• 3. Video Interview with the Hiring Manager. If selected to move forward, you will meet with the hiring manager and potentially 1-2 additional team members.
• 4. Offer or Decline. If selected for the position, a recruiter will call to extend an offer. If you have not been selected, a recruiter will reach out to let you know.
Eligibility
Our program is designed for rising juniors, rising seniors, and those within six months of graduation from an undergraduate university, unless otherwise noted.
Candidates must indicate if they now or in the future require Endeavor to commence (''sponsor'') an immigration case in order to employ them (for example, H-1B or other employment-based immigration case).
Pay
We offer paid internships; rates vary based on location. Pay rates typically align with local required minimums and vary by country.
