Lifestyle Producer / Assistant Show Host

Job Description

WTAJ is looking for an energetic and creative full-time lifestyle producer/assistant host. The ideal candidate enjoys hard work while maintaining a fun vibe! You will set up guest appearances, produce and conduct live and recorded interviews, as well as participate in some on-air segments. You will manage much of our online presence at wtaj.com and on social media. Each day you will collaborate with the lifestyle show's host to generate content ideas and maintain a robust calendar of appearances and trending topics. Our show regularly features local businesses, restaurants, entertainment, local organizations and more. You will greet and assist guests during show preparations and coordinate logistics with our production and advertising teams.

WTAJ-TV is located in beautiful central Pennsylvania. The show is all about living life in central PA and features things to do, places to go, local businesses, expert advice, and more.

The style of the show is segment and interview-based intertwined with unique storytelling showcasing our communities. The producer will regularly participate in on-air segments. The skillset we are looking for will require strong ad-libbing and interview skills. A college degree in broadcasting or related major is preferred. Familiarity with ENPS, Adobe Premiere, WordPress and SEO is a big plus.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience Must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task Ability to meet tight deadlines Experience with ENPS or iNews Social media fluency Experience with Adobe Premiere and/or ENPS a big plus
