Job Title: Sr.Manager/Director, Operations, East West Records

A little bit about our team:

East West Records is a connector across WMG's global ecosystem, working closely with central marketing departments, international repertoire owners, and Global Commercial Services' Digital Account managers, among others. EWR facilitates the US release of both new and established artists signed to Warner Music affiliates around the globe without a US label home. EWR is responsible for global repertoire optimization, partnering on production and scheduling updates, fiscal analysis of revenue results, artist development via US marketing opportunities, and artist advocacy across Warner Music's global affiliate network.

Your role:

If you love global music, maintaining a vast schedule of releases from over 40 countries, scrupulously planning for day-and-date release with the rest of the world, helping artists be best positioned for success upon release, and working with cutting-edge financial and digital strategies on behalf of Warner Music and its global family of artists, this is the role for you. Across various functions, you'll contribute to developing international artists in the US market, crossing borders and expanding their audience. It offers the opportunity to learn about a unique niche of the global music business that Warner excels in, in a fluid, ever-evolving environment.

Here you'll get to:

Repertoire Release & Revenue Drivers
• Support global day-and-date streaming launch of WMG's international releases each week
• Audit & Optimize repertoire on Global Scale in partnership with Central Scheduling
• Work with Central Scheduling & ROs to proactively clear suspense & drive revenue
• Ensure necessary financial identifiers are in place
• Resolve delivery & mapping issues

Marketing Ops
• Liaise with Repertoire Owners for release optimization
• Maintain priority release schedule with relevant notes for curated pitches across global pitch tools
• Capture data pertaining to playlists, chart positions, streaming stats, and more to share with relevant parties
• Review Market Set-up parameters to ensure WM international artists are set up for success in the global music market
• Review localized DSP & social media best practices
• Manage strategic planning efforts on advertising and content rollout optimization

Business & Analysis
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Utilize direct access to global teams across account management, analysis, business development, affiliates and labels to implement and execute ideas on optimization and driving revenue
• Analyze repertoire & revenue performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize future release strategies
• Create regular review of analysis findings and best practice updates
• Work with labels and business development to assess 3rd party/partnership opportunities
• Develop business cases/execution plans for strategic initiatives, partnerships, acquisition

About you:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the music industry
• Expertise with large files of metadata
• Proficiency in Excel (especially Pivot tables & VLookups) and PowerPoint. SharePoint, Spotify Analytics, Tableau, Linkfire, and Sodatone a plus
• Passion for cutting-edge technologies and innovation
• Interest in the Warner Music catalog
• Knowledge of other languages a plus; interest in global music preferred

Salary Range

$90,000 to $100,000 Annually

Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
