You will work closely with the Global People Team and Business Leaders to deliver the outcomes of the Talent Framework Program.
Your role:
The Talent Framework Program is one of the most significant global transformation projects across WMG. The project is being phased in over time to allow for effective integration into the fabric of the business. Phase 1 (completed), included the development of detailed job profiles that represent the areas of expertise across this iconic creative music business. The existing roles have been mapped into the new global career framework job profiles within each business and functional area and include standardized career tracks and levels across 21 job family groups.
Phase 2 of the program has just commenced in Oct 2024. Your role will be to drive the calibration of the initial job mapping that was completed in Phase 1. • Analyze the job family groups, job families and career level descriptions and recommend any limited refinements necessary to assure clear enough differentiation for effective calibration and market comparison
• Manage and drive the job mapping calibration process starting with a pilot group, capturing learnings and applying to the rest of the organization for full calibration completion and alignment to salary structures by July 1
• Lead the review and comparison of work content across all jobs within each mapped level for comparability and validate that it matches the appropriate job level descriptors
• Work with the Compensation team to inform your recommendations based on pay information. This may involve producing and explaining detailed comparative reports to illustrate differences that may need discussion and clarification
• Develop process to incorporate Joiners, Movers and Leavers not included in initial job mapping of Phase 1
• Finalize and document collaborative governance process for ongoing management of the job architecture with the People team leadership and hand over to BAU Process owners
• Develop necessary analysis, presentations and documentation to support the calibration process
• Work with Workday team to implement employee mapping changes into system
