Job Title: Executive Assistant to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
A little bit about our team:
The Global Marketing team play a pivotal role in delivering WMG's mission of turning dreams into stardom and audiences into fans through the development of a new marketing organisation, that will deliver operational excellence, increase our artist and songwriter value proposition and strengthen WMG's position at both a global and local level.
The CMO will lead the strategic direction and execution of all WMG marketing initiatives, to drive impact for all WMG artists and songwriters.
In addition to driving WMG's marketing vision, the CMO will collaborate closely with other leaders as part of the WMG Executive Leadership Team (ELT), including group functions (e.g., Technology, Finance), group services (e.g., WMX) and business leads (e.g., WCM, ADA, RM Regional/Label Leads) to ensure that WMG's marketing efforts align with the overall business goals.
Your role:
The Executive Assistant will support day-to-day administration for the CMO. You'll work closely with a vast number of different departments in order to connect the CMO with the correct departments, plus People Team (HR), Finance, Tech and Office Services on various projects. You will be involved in the global culture of Global Marketing and support in bringing the group together for virtual and in person events.
Here you'll get to:
• Calendar Management:
• Managing complex and constantly evolving schedules, often involving meetings, events, and travel
• Prioritizing appointments and ensuring the CMO's time is used efficiently
• Travel Coordination:
• Arranging domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, and transportation
• Handling last-minute changes and ensuring smooth travel experiences
• Communication Management
• Screening and managing calls, emails, and other correspondence
• Acting as a liaison between the CMO and internal/external stakeholders
• Drafting and preparing professional communications
• Meeting Support:
• Preparing agendas, briefing materials, and presentations
• Taking meeting minutes and tracking action items
• Organizing and coordinating logistics for meetings and events
• Administrative Tasks:
• Managing expense reports, purchase orders, and other administrative tasks
• Tracking project deadlines and deliverables
• Confidentiality:
• Handling critical information with discretion and maintaining confidentiality
• Industry Awareness:
• Staying up-to-date on music industry trends, events, and news
• Understanding the roles of various stakeholders, such as artists, labels, publishers, and streaming services
• Knowledge of digital streaming platforms, social media, and other online marketing channels.
About you:
• 5+ years executive-level administrative experience in media, tech, or an adjacent industry
• Proficiency with the latest cloud-based collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and can comfortably and thoughtfully communicate with people at all seniority levels – both within the company and externally
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and don't drop the ball. Nothing gets past you!
• You are comfortable multi-tasking across multiple high-profile priorities. You are cool under pressure and good at prioritizing more important tasks over others
• You have strong interpersonal skills, high EQ, and are both trustworthy and discreet
• You are a proactive self-starter and resourceful problem solver with a ''get it done'' mindset
We'd love it if you also had:
• 2-4 previous years of experience supporting a Senior-Level Executive
• Prior music industry experience

This position will require being in the office 4 days a week. We believe that an in-office presence is critical for talent development, collaboration and building strong relationships.
Salary Range
$35.00 to $44.00 Hourly
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
