Job Description
The Job
VP, [Region] Content Management will lead our regional line of business facing operations covering all content needs across streaming and networks for our major markets across the assigned region. This function will be accountable and responsible for the sourcing, packaging and delivery of content from our studios and 3rd party producers, ensuring all supporting materials including images, artwork, metadata, promotions and trailers, are created, localized, compiled and delivered to fulfil the content strategy, planning, scheduling and monetization needs of our steaming, networks, licensing and theatrical businesses.

The Daily – Major Activities
• Content Strategy Alignment and Proactive Planning
• Collaborate with GCM Content Pipeline Operations team to obtain visibility into future regional content plans, including specific global and regional content priorities.
• Engaging with Regional production partners, studios, and production finance CoE's (Centre of Excellence) to define content delivery plans, dates, and deliverables based on requirements from Strategy, Programming, Planning and Scheduling to align on and plan for an agreed exhibition date (Linear and Streaming).
• Stakeholder Communications
• Leading the proactive operational reporting with business stakeholders to support strategic content readiness and scheduling conversations. Liaising across business leadership, CoE's, Studios and Programming. Includes communication and coordinating across all groups to ensure focus is applied in the right areas to ensure on time and premium quality delivery in accordance with the agreed Studio and Programming publication strategy and content security needs.
• Issue Management and Resolution
• Collaborate with Global Content Operations CoE's, Global Content Readiness, Customer, Platform, Content Strategy and technical support teams to develop and implement efficient strategies and execution plans for resolving content issues at any point of the supply chain up to and including on platform to pre-agreed turn-around time and services levels based on severity and impact
• People Leadership and Development
• Lead dedicated and matrixed teams across all aspects of the content pipeline in region to agreed services and KPI's. Working closely with business stakeholders, CoE's, technology teams and operational partners to achieve collective business goals. Set clear stretch goals to enable team development with proactive support and training.
• Financial Planning & Budgeting
• Accountable for the overall financial planning and budgeting of regional content operations activities and spend aligned to the needs of the networks and streaming businesses. Actively manage the financial tracking and controls related to content operations activities and reporting. Creation of business cases for new and additional spend as required to manage changes, new launches and strategic regional requirements.

The Essentials
• Over 5 years' experience working across pan regional Studios and Content Operations and interacting/influencing at senior stakeholder (Managing Director and Leadership team) level.
• Over 5 years leading significant business and operational change/improvement programmes/projects, partnering with internal and external technology groups and service providers in the content and technical operations space.
• Over 5 years' experience leading strategic teams and initiatives and working in a Global matrixed environment
• Defining, managing and governance of financial business cases and operational budgets
• Global vendor management across Studios, Content Delivery Partners for strategic requirements, service levels and spend pertaining to Content Delivery.
• Excellent data and analytical skills focused on operational trend analysis
• Technical knowledge of media workflows and media formats
• Excellent presentational, consultative and influencing skills in pursuit of strategic alignment and effecting business change
