The Sr. Manager, DEI Business Partner (Sr. Manager, DEI BP) will oversee the operationalizing of DEI efforts in the North America region supporting our studios employees (eg. Studios, & Studio operations). Reporting into the VP, DEI North America , the Sr. Manager, DEI BP will be responsible for partnering with business units across the organization to activate the delivery of the DEI strategy and will partner with the global DEI team to interpret activity at a local level, as needed. The Sr. Manager, DEI BP will work in partnership with business, the broader DEI team, and local People & Culture (P&C) colleagues to embed systems change approach to DEI at WBD with a focus on recruitment, retention, progression, performance management, leadership development, and employee engagement. This role will partner closely with all areas of the business, specifically with the broader DE&I community, P&C Partners, Business Leaders, Business Resource Groups, Communications, and Legal.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of the DEI vision and strategy for the North America region, and in support of the DEI Commitments that stem from the Business and Creative Councils.
• Partner with local leaders, P&C, Legal and Comms to manage the change and transformation needs required to implement our DEI approach with a systems lens and evidence-based approach.
• Collaborate with the P&C team to ensure effective DEI practices are embedded into every phase of the talent and development lifecycles, to support the development of diverse talent.
• Lead the activation of DEI programmatic efforts to build leadership capability and advance talent within local budget recommendations (i.e. mentoring/coaching/sponsorship programs, inclusive leadership or fellowship programs, etc.)
• Design and deliver DEI training/learning programs.
• Build partner team relationships and/or programs to influence systemic change in our practices to support recruitment, retention, and development of underrepresented talent.
• Drive the thought leadership and create a body of centralized resources for use across our workforce.
• Partner with L&D and other teams on the successful delivery of DEI-related capability training, as needed.
• Other projects as assigned by the Director, DEI BP or GVP.
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of 6 years of experience preferred in the area of workplace diversity, equity, inclusion, and culture.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience preferred with managing organizational diversity initiatives within the media and or entertainment landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal communications along with presentation skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Must be self-initiating, exercise good judgment, and be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated effectiveness managing diverse stakeholders including but not limited to executives, BRG members, external vendors and consultants.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy.
• Proven influencing and relationship building skills with internal and external partners and people from various backgrounds and cultures.
• Passion for DEI and creating a sense of belonging in the workplace.
• Great communicator who can quickly build trust and strong working relationships with internal and external partners and vendors.
• Curiosity and willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of current DEI needs.
• Desire to drive change; demonstrated ability to be highly organized, and strong strategy and execution capabilities.
• Able and willing to occasionally travel to events within the local region and other WBD offices within North America.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $109,900.00 - $204,100.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
