Job Description
As the Senior FP&A Analyst, you will support the WBD line of business domain within WBD FP&A and Data Analytics Center of Excellence (COE). This role will be participating in development and implementation of the strategies to simplify and harmonize financial planning and reporting processes, and to drive best practices in this space. You will support the coordination of the multiple recurring processes across the teams and run ad hoc projects aimed at improving the efficiency of FP&A work in WBD. Your main responsibility will be the control role over the financial cycle and the numbers in WBD, data consistency, management hierarchies, calendar alignment and process execution. It will require excellent understanding of the metadata structure.
This position will be always working on the Global WBD dataset.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Continuous development and maintenance of WBD Group reporting with multiple layers,
• Design and implementation of the standardized segment & functional reporting across the teams,
• Subject matter expert on the FP&A systems landscape,
• Global cost center hierarchy governance and maintenance,
• Support to multiple SOX controls and data validations,
• Maintenance and regular monitoring of the correct usage of the reporting dimensions across the company segments,
• Work with Finance systems and IT department to ensure and maintain financial system readiness for financial planning and management reporting processes,
• Ad hoc reporting around projects as well various requests coming from Group FP&A as well COE leadership,
• Develop standard executive presentations and meeting materials for CFO to CEO, as well as other key stakeholders,
• Deliver communications on company-wide best practices that will create efficiencies for both COE members and business finance.
Qualifications & Experience…
• 5+ years' of demonstrated experience in a large corporate, or relevant experience in investment banking position in finance function with focus on the consolidation activities,
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills,
• Progressive experience and deep understanding of the business from reporting and finance perspective,
• Working experience with financial control, management reporting and business analyses, preferably within a global environment in multinational organization
• Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends and analysis through data and to translate this into concrete actions,
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders,
• Competent in preparing presentation quality documents and executive summaries.
• High emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, data analysis, and process innovation
• Long proven experience in using ERP systems as SAP / SAP Analytics and EPM solutions such as SAP BPC, Oracle EPM/SmartView
• Great Excel and PowerPoint, are essential, with practical knowledge about Power Pivot, Power Query, VBA, SQL
• Proactive and hands-on,
