Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment is seeking a dynamic, high capacity, motivated, and experienced individual in themed entertainment. Under direction and alongside of Director, VP or EVP, implements and executes strategies for long-term growth in the Global Themed Entertainment (GTE) category. Primarily focused on Theme Parks, Location Based Entertainment, overall GTE development and management, as well as business development of existing and emerging opportunities globally. Manage specific licensing activities for GTE with responsibility for potential business growth opportunities, licensee negotiation input and specific day-to-day oversight.
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Effectively communicate, promote, and advocate for GTE strategy and goals
• Supports both short-term and long-term GTE strategies in order to maximize revenue and brand exposure. Utilizing industry knowledge, determines appropriate business opportunities based on licensee experience, market share, creative ability, financial proposal, speed to market and overall fit within GTE portfolio of themed experiences
• Under direction of Director, manages all aspects of assigned GTE accounts from pitching properties and input on contract negotiation to servicing the day-to-day business needs of licensees including oversight of creative approvals through StarLabs and in direct consultation with Creative team, procurement of creative assets including style guides, marketing updates, property research, legal approvals, and public relations support
• Works closely with key internal stakeholders (Franchise Marketing, PR, Legal, Finance, Product Development, Brand Assurance, DC & WBCP) along with sister divisions (Studio Facilities, WBTV, WBIE, WBHE, Theatrical Promotions) to ensure consistent brand and strategy alignment, communication on necessary approvals and marketing activations, and asset requests
• Assists Director in evaluating business opportunities including managing the due diligence process on potential licensees, analyzing market & competition, as well as the size of the financial opportunity, and best business model. Also assists in negotiating critical deal points providing key input and analysis
• Assists Director in establishing, managing, and achieving financials goals, providing significant input in overall short-term and long-range budget targets, as well as assists in all forecasts/business reviews and monitors financial results to ensure revenues meet budgetary goals
• In collaboration with the GTE territory leads, communicates key account activity to international stakeholders including general licensee updates, current negotiations and pitches, financial forecasts, and long-term plans
• Attends tradeshows and visits licensees as needed to review and update experiences and provide strategic direction
• Performs other related duties, research, and special projects as assigned
Qualifications & Experience...
Work Experience
3 – 5 years previous themed entertainment, theater, live entertainment, and/or licensing related experience – specifically in project/production management of themed entertainment and/or live entertainment
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
Knowledge/Skills
• Knowledge of licensing industry a plus
• Knowledge of WB IP preferred
• Must have ability to organize and prioritize work, prepare, and present written and oral project presentations, and communicate with clients, licensees, and management to determine needs and solve problems
• Must be comfortable managing and communicating the review and approvals of design materials/process
• Must be comfortable working in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Mandarin a plus.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $83,090.00 - $154,310.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
