Job Description
This role is responsible for supporting business decision support, financial & capital planning for the Studio Operations organization. Oversee and prepare the development of comprehensive financial models and reports to enable business to make informed decisions on effective use of company resources. Models consist of varying complexity, are prepared accurately, efficiently and completed by agreed-upon deadline. Collaborates with stakeholders and subject matter experts across the organization as needed. Also, performs periodic lookbacks to determine if key outcomes were achieved.The successful candidate will possess strong people management skills, ensure the departments have effective operating controls, oversee internal processes, identify process improvement opportunities, and develop metrics (e.g., KPI). As a partner, the role will work closely with management and develop programs to effectively run and grow the business while providing recommendations and analysis. This position will also support cross-department functions, assess organizational effectiveness, and develop recommendations to streamline day-to-day tasks. This is a dynamic role that requires the candidate to possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to multi-task, adjust to competing priorities and have excellent communication skills.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Periodic (monthly & quarterly) financial analysis and reporting packages to lead discussions on performance
• Produce business analytics, KPI dashboards, and other metrics to drive revenue growth opportunities and cost efficiencies
• Collaborate and develop strong relationships with teams in other territories. Cross share through open dialogue and optimize workflow
• Provide strategic support to operating executives and Studio Operations management through timely analysis, identification of business risks and developing meaningful processes or recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in business analytics/operational finance developing, defining, executing, enforcing, updating policies, standards and end to end finance processes.
• Experience in preparing budgets and monitoring the performance in comparison to budget and providing analysis as necessary to ensure clarity of understanding and options for improvement.
• Experience in oversight of internal control processes, identifying, documenting, recommending and implementing control process changes.
• Experience in general accounting, financial analysis, managing staff, and management of multiple business areas.
• Experience reviewing control and operational process and recommending course(s) of action, seeking buy-in and implementing changes.
• Advising and assisting operations management in the implementation of business strategy by providing meaningful financial data and forecasts necessary to monitor and control business activities.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required)
• CPA, CFA (preferred)
• MBA (preferred)
• Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP or other Enterprise systems
• Strong proficiency in Financial Modeling, Financial Reporting, and Management KPI Dashboards
• 5-7 years of experience in a TV and media/entertainment company
• Ability to prepare complex financial models for strategic initiatives and new business opportunities.
• Strong quantitative & analytical skills and ability to think strategically to oversee creation of detailed financial models
• Effective communication & people skills; active participation in meetings
• Complex problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Professional demeanor and executive presence; effective presentation skills
• Ability to be proactive and to drive projects forward on a timely basis

Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $95,550.00 - $177,450.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
