Job Description
As FP&A Director Streaming Tech, you manage non-personnel
Opex & Capex FP&A CoE team responsible for planning, reporting and analysis of global Streaming Technology and Product related
operating and capital expenses . Streaming Technology supports development and maintenance of Direct-to-Consumer products as MAX and Discovery+ which are key growth contributors for WBD organization.

Your main responsibility is to lead the team and ensure proactive and timely high-quality forecasting, reporting and analysis which enables finance and budget holders to make critical, strategic decisions which build strong foundation for WBD success .

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Manage and develop team of 8-10 people ,
• Manage transitions of activities from local finance into center of excellence FP&A structures,
• Ensure deep knowledge withing the team related to streaming technology and product non personnel costs ( e.g. Cloud, Content Delivery Network, Platform Engineering, Product &Design),
• Lead allocation process of expenses between DTC and other segments of WBD organization (News, Networks , Studios)
• Partner with VP Finance Streaming Tech on daily basis,
• Design and maintain cost KPIs and benchmarking analysis which can be reviewed on regular basis by business,
• Build models and analytics related to Cloud and CDN variable spend ,
• Challenge the business to drive process efficiencies and cost reductions,
• Implement and maintain standard FP&A processes within managed streaming tech cost domain and ensure effectiveness and efficiency of these processes (month end close, forecast, budget),
• Provide high quality financial information and insights to business partners and finance leadership related to managed cost of organization (both
opex and capex) ,
• Work proactively together with the Business Partners on special projects in the area of streaming tech costs (system implementations, standard process design, development of required reporting, cloud modelling)
• Supporting the month end close process from an FP&A perspective with variance analysis focusing on streaming tech and product non-personnel
opex costs as well as capital.
• Summarizing key findings to support discussions and decision making with the business
• Monitor actuals utilization vs budget/prior year and provide required commentary on key variances.
• Advise and drive developments in systems to provide more accurate and timely reporting,
• Participate and lead transformation projects related to FP&A Streaming Tech and Product ( e.g. ERP and EPM systems implementation and process re-design and stabilization)

Qualifications & Experience…
• 1 2 + years of relevant finance professional experience with minimum 5 + years in FP&A area,
• Team management experience is a must ,
• Experience in Tech Finance environment is strongly appreciated and big plus ( e.g. software house / tech company finance roles) ,
• CIMA, ACCA qualification is a plus,
• Working experience with financial control, management reporting and business analyses, preferably within an international environment
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
• Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends and analysis through data and to translate this into concrete actions
• Project management, change management and process improvement experience
• Experience in working with EPM solutions for planning and reporting ( ie . SAP BPC, Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong team leader
• Business driven attitude and a sparring partner for management
• Excellent analytical skills
• Pro-active and hands-on
• High drive and energy level
• Fluent in English
