Job Summary/Description:

Atlanta News First (WANF) is looking for an energetic, engaged, and engaging anchor to join our news team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced journalist who loves to connect with the community through compelling storytelling from diverse perspectives.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Generate enterprise story ideas/ franchise content
* Create compelling content for broadcast, streaming, digital, and social platforms daily
* Be a leader in the newsroom by actively engaging in the editorial process
* Develop a strong network of sources in the community
* Anchor weekend evening newscasts, fill-in on other newscasts/ breaking news desk as needed
* Anchor streaming segments as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field preferred
* 7 years of experience as an on-air broadcast journalist preferred
* Major market experience preferred
* Excellent writer
* Strong time-management
* Outstanding news judgment
* Team player, team-builder, player/ coach leader
