News Producer

We are looking for the right producer to help bring those stories to life on Atlanta News First!. Duties/Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Produce 30-60 minutes of local news daily; select stories, determine story order, write broadcast scripts, select video, create and/or order graphics and other showcasing elements to enhance viewer experience and understanding of content Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field - Minimum of 5 years experience producing and boothing live broadcast newscasts - Excellent time management, communication, and broadcast writing skills - Proven track record of working at a high level under tight deadlines - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Must provide samples of recent work Preferred: - Experience line producing in a medium or large market - Experience producing special projects, unscripted live events, digital/ streaming/ social media content - Field producing experience - Segment-producing experience If you feel you're qualified and want to work with a great group of people go to https://gray.
