Sr. Technical Product Manager, Vudu Server Commerce (Fandango)

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Senior Technical Product Manager to join the Vudu Product team. In this role, you will define innovative systems and services for best-in-class digital streaming and transactional platforms. Collaborating with various stakeholders, both engineering and business, you will define product requirements for server-driven features and enhancements. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead product for Vudu server-side functionality, such as payments, search, personalization, and tools
• Partner with Engineering and Business teams, Marketing, Program Management, UX/Product Design, Research, and Business Intelligence
• Collaborate with client-side Product Managers on server-side needs and features
• Identify customer needs, tech trends, and market opportunities to evolve the product
• Write detailed, thorough technical requirements for developers and QA
• Determine the priority of work and communicate with Engineering
• Guide projects from inception to launch to iteration
• Define KPIs and analyze metrics to inform the success of products
• Become a subject matter expert on the technical engineering aspect of Vudu

Qualifications/Requirements
Degree preferably in Computer Science, Computer

Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of Product experience, preferably in a technical product role
A strong understanding and passion for systems and

services in digital commerce
Ability to conceptualize products, manage and optimize them throughout their lifecycle
Attention to detail is essential
Effectively communicate with technical and non-

technical audiences, including executive leadership
The ability to work well in a team environment and

maintain a positive and professional tone across

departments

Desired Characteristics
• 5+ years of product experience, preferably in a technical role
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, Computer Science or Engineering a plus
• Relevant experience with server-side services, APIs, and solutions
• Experience with payment systems (credit card, PayPal, gift cards, taxes) is a plus
• Experience with accounting, partner, and analytics reports is a plus
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Willingness to take ownership and drive initiatives to completion
• An expert in juggling multiple tasks, re-prioritizing where needed
• Knowledge in Scrum and agile software development process, epics and stories, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and estimation
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Team-oriented with a positive and professional tone
• Knowledge or strong interest in entertainment, streaming, and video on demand
