Verve is seeking a driven Coordinator to support the MP Literary team with key business initiatives and all administrative duties as needed. The ideal candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking and appropriately handling confidential information.


You will:

  1. Interface with high-profile clients, managers, and executives with utmost professionalism
  2. Manage various grids for the team, which are the ongoing lists of all active projects and the main source of informational flow when it comes to sourcing and tracking opportunities for our clients
  3. Maintain lists of studio mandates and reports in coordination with covering agents
  4. Record data on team goals and accomplishments, client performance, marketplace statistics, etc.
  5. Track jobs booked by our clients and jobs filled by non-clients
  6. Track signing pursuits
  7. Prep for and take notes in various team meetings and sending follow up immediately after
  8. Keep track of your team’s client premieres
  9. Compile noteworthy news in coordination with other coordinators
  10. Awareness of and tracking materials in the marketplace (specs, books, IP, etc.)
  11. Keep track of studio executive and producer changes
  12. Keep lists of production company and other creative-focused deals with studios
  13. Network and build relationships with coordinators and executives at other companies to source information
  14. Prepare for and compile notes from various company-wide meetings, responsibilities shared with other coordinators


Requirements

  1. Minimum of 2 years of full-time assistant experience at an agency/management company
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  3. Outstanding time management and multi-tasking skills, strong follow-up
  4. Must practice discretion at all times and safeguard confidential information
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
