UMG Nashville is looking for a Coordinator, Business and Legal Affairs, and Production to provide assistance and support to the Business Affairs and Production Teams.
How you'll CREATE:
Business & Legal Affairs Support
• Review, prepare and route incoming and outgoing mail, letters and other correspondences.
• Maintain call sheet for department attorneys.
• Schedule meetings and conference calls for department attorneys.
• Schedule, plan and coordinate travel arrangements for department attorneys as needed including the preparation and tracking of expense reports.
• Track contract, deal and assignment progress and priorities and maintain status spreadsheet.
• Review, summarize and circulate contracts as required and enter into summary systems.
• Maintain/update Excel spreadsheet of artist agreements and related rights.
• Organize/maintain filing system for the department (physical and digital).
• Maintain/order office supplies for department.
• Other duties as assigned.
Production Support
• Responsible for supporting the planning, scheduling, and monitoring all aspects of production for digital and physical releases.
• Keep schedules updated and distribute accordingly.
• Coordinate with internal and external personnel to gather and maintain information such as label copy, PROs and publishing splits and maintain spreadsheet of such data.
• Assemble and distribute publishing splits and label copy with mechanical licensing department.
• Accurately enter and verify metadata and label copy and enter into production/distribution systems.
• Maintain constant communication between internal departments to ensure timely delivery of all projects.
• Deep metadata tagging of all commercial audio in Amplify.
• Gather and set video components, physical, and digital marketing rights to be scheduled as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Bring your VIBE:
• Degree in related field
• 1-3 years' practical work experience or with combined related internships
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite required
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively within a fast-past environment
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized
• Working knowledge of music industry preferred
• Ability to carry out projects/tasks independently
• Ability to learn new software programs as necessary
• Music industry a plus
• Administrative experience required
