Job Description

You will be joining the Technical Artists team and working under the responsibility of the Art Technical Director. You are in direct contact with the artistic teams.

As a Technical Artist, your missions are the following:
- Be the daily support of the teams working on World Building (Art and Design) to follow the mandate of the maps produced in the studio.
- Identify, analyse and address bugs/problems blocking production and follow their resolution.
- Monitor performance
- Assist team members in performing their tasks more efficiently
- Technical monitoring of Assets in the engine
- Ensure quality reporting on global actions concerning the world and the maps produced by our teams.

Qualifications

You have a first experience as a Technical Artist, ideally on a AAA or AA production.
- You have worked on various topics around world building such as level art, lighting, props, level design etc..
- You are able to use at least one 3D modelling software (3DS Max, Substance Designer, Maya, Blender...)
- You have significant experience on a game engine (Unreal Engine, Unity, other proprietary engine etc...) as well as a comprehensive understanding of the art workflow and pipeline
- You are versatile and have a real understanding of world building, with a strong spirit of synthesis and interpersonal skills that allows you to work effectively in a team and get your ideas across.
- You have visual scripting experience.
- You have the ability to work in an international context and to communicate daily in English
