Job Description

We are looking for a people-oriented, highly organized, and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist & Workplace Manager to join our HR Team. You will play a key role providing guidance and support on a wide range of HR issues. As a core member of the HR Team and reporting to the HR Director, you will have a direct impact on our people's life. The role is a complex HR role with a high level of independence and trust. You will work closely with team members to foster a friendly work environment that promotes strong collaboration and continuous learning.

Your daily adventure:

Payroll and Compensation & Benefits Administration:
• You will execute payroll processing for employees accurately and autonomously, in partnership with our external agency.
• You oversee the employee benefits programs.
• You will be the first point of contact managing team members' inquiries and provide guidance on compensation and benefits-related matters.

Workplace:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workplace, including maintenance, repairs, and other services.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility-related projects and services.
• Coordinate the provision of amenities such as cafeterias and breakfast.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and requests related to workplace facilities and services.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and standards.

Events and Training Coordination:
• Coordinate and administer training programs funded through FUNDAE, ensuring compliance with program guidelines and regulations, in collaboration with our external agency.
• Liaise with training providers, instructors, and participants to schedule training sessions and manage logistical arrangements.
• Organize big parties, such as summer parties and Christmas parties.
• Every month, we celebrate events in the studio, such as Carnival, Halloween, International Women's Day, Sant Jordi, Wellbeing Week, Pride Month, and much more. You'll be in charge of organizing these events and finding the best providers (food, speakers, restaurants, etc.)

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in payroll processing, compensation, and benefits administration.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with external agencies.
• Previous experience in workplace and office management.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with FUNDAE guidelines and regulations preferred.
• Creativity and organizational skills to plan and execute parties and events effectively.
• Ability to multitask and change from one project to another.
• Strong team spirit and collaboration mindset.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
