JOB SUMMARY: This position will provide administrative support for the Legal Department and General Counsel of the Texas Rangers, and related business entities in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. This individual must be detail-oriented, possess the ability to multi-task efficiently, and work collaboratively with the entire Legal team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:
• Prepare and process legal documents for execution, including, but not limited to, correspondence and contracts.
• Support the assignment of and timely response to internal legal review requests.
• Organize, track, update, and maintain legal files, records, and documents, including, but not limited to, contracts, corporate governance documents, litigation/claims files, policies and procedures, internal and external correspondence, resources, dashboards and tracking spreadsheets, and memorandums.
• Support the administration of legal systems, including contract management, case management, and corporate governance document management, and the updating and facilition of any trainings related to such legal systems and liaisoning with external system vendor representatives.
• Support monitoring and updating of legal dashboards and reporting of legal metrics.
• Prepare and submit expense reports for the Legal Department.
• Help obtain approvals for, track, and maintain legal invoices and outside counsel expenses.
• Assist with planning and scheduling of meetings, conferences, and teleconferences.
• Procure and maintain office supplies for the Legal Department.
• Provide general administrative support for the entire Legal Department as requested.
• Provide executive administrative support for General Counsel.
• Exercise independent judgment with respect to responsibilities and tasks delegated.
• This position will not have direct supervisory responsibilities but will require frequent coordination, and when appropriate, direction, of the activities of third parties as necessary to accomplish the assigned tasks.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working in fast-paced, highly confidential environment with prior administrative assistant experience, preferably in an in-house legal department.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), experience with Box and NetDocs preferred.
• Detail-oriented with great organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
