JOB SUMMARY: The Authentics Coordinator assists in managing the Club's authentic merchandise including autographed, game-used and collectible memorabilia. This includes the set up and fulfillment of internet and online auction orders, coordinating with authorized retail outlets and ensuring other departments product needs are met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Responsible for assisting in all aspects of club's Authentic merchandise operations, which includes new autographed, game-used, and collectible Authentic memorabilia line
• Manage the implementation, creation and fulfillment of Major League Advanced Media internet and on-line auction orders
• Supervise Authentics location(s) including setup, sales, management of staff and operations including strict adherence to financial management procedures and accounting of activity
• Support the Director with representing the club in all merchandise/retail operations of authenticated merchandise including off-site and non-baseball events
• Assist in the creation of monthly revenue and inventory reports
• Coordinate with other authorized retail outlets
• Maintain and exceed concierge level service
• Coordinate other departments product needs, place orders/transfers on their behalf and track shipments on a year-round basis
• Provide introductory information to new customers
• Ensure that customers are satisfied with products or services
• Advise customers or clients about additional products or services
• Provide quick and effective answers to potential and existing clients email or personal requests
• Must be available to work all home games at Globe Life Field
• All other duties as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management or similar field preferred
• 1-2 years retail experience in sports or related field
• Strong sports memorabilia experience
• Excellent communication, computer, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of the history of baseball and Texas Rangers baseball a plus
• Background in project management, business and marketing acumen
• Ability to work long hours, holidays and weekends
