Job Summary: Assist in managing and coordinating staff and facilities to develop new and improved media workflows, administer new technologies and achieve the highest levels of excellence in media integration and broadcast operations. The role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in logistics and operations. The Assistant will work closely with the Director, Operations coordinate facilities and remote trucks for live sports broadcasts. Will include planning and communicating all essential broadcast information leading up and during each event. This role will collaborate with show producers, directors, crewing, travel, production vendors to execute live remote broadcasts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Assist Director with coordinating remote event operations by communicating with mobile truck vendors, master control, crewing, broadcast partners and production personnel
• Assist with the coordination and scheduling for delivery of the broadcast to any partner distribution outlets
• Contact for Producers, Directors, Engineers, and Talent working at remote sites.
• Arrange equipment rentals as needed.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating pickup and delivery of equipment.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination of transmission needs.
• Booking travel for crew and production.
• All other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• College degree required
• Experience in live sports events and/or broadcast production and operations preferred.
• Combinations of relevant skills, education and experience will be considered.
• Self starter, multi-task oriented with minimal supervision required
• The ability to communicate technical issues and remain calm under pressure is essential
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
• Excellent decision-making and inter-personal skills are necessary.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends as game and event duties require.
