Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Associate – Tax to manage TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and GST (Goods and Services Tax) compliances while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting. This role is pivotal in maintaining financial and regulatory compliance for our global operations and offers opportunities for professional development in a dynamic and creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of TDS & GST compliance, including fund forecasting and coordination with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury teams.
• Advise the accounts payable team on applicable TDS sections and rates by analyzing vendor transactions (domestic and foreign).
• Manage tax audits for domestic group entities, coordinating with finance teams, tax auditors, and reviewing reports.
• Prepare TDS returns, tax computations, ITR forms, and SFT forms.
• Draft responses to assessment notices and compute deferred taxes.
• Provide schedules for audits and liaise with external consultants for monthly/annual compliances and tax litigations.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Qualified CA/CMA with 0–1 year of experience OR non-qualified CA/CMA with 1–3 years of relevant experience (preferably in a CA/Audit firm).
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of TDS, GST, and tax compliance processes.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external consultants.
