Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) is looking for a Workday Contingent Worker Lead to work on the IT Workforce Management team. The position reports to the Director, Corporate IT. This role requires experience in Workday technical solution delivery for hiring, onboarding and offboarding along with development with the Workday Extend toolset for the SPE contingent worker population. (Contingent workers are workers not paid by Sony Payroll). The skills include active leadership in technical solution meetings with stakeholders across various domains within the organization. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving and delivering solution decisions, while closely collaborating with business and technology partners and the leadership team. Responsibilities include defining and updating Workday configuration and Extend customizations related to the contingent worker population at SPE. This includes the collaborative design of solutions through execution of technical tasks to accomplish the solution, quality control activities, delivery and monitoring across technology environments. This role offers a hybrid work environment and is based in Culver City. This role is at the forefront of innovation within the Workday ecosystem, creating cutting-edge solutions that redefine the boundaries of what is possible
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Innovation:
• Lead the delivery team for Workday contingent worker initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders across the Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE), This includes TV and Motion Picture Productions, Finance, IT and security teams.
• Determine the appropriate types of solutions to meet the various needs to stakeholders based on business value.
• Maintain currency with technology innovation and how that would apply to the SPE landscape.
• Use your technical expertise to engage directly on high profile projects, to manage any significant challenges, and will be an important senior liaison and escalation for our clients.
Product Delivery and Management:
• Perform the full lifecycle delivery of product developments to Workday for contingent worker management. SPE currently utilizes Extend to manage on-boarding and off-boarding of contingent workers with custom interfaces.
• Develop and execute delivery plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure successful outcomes within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues and risks related to solution delivery.
• Work with external partners and Workday to stay abreast of new features and functions.
• Operate utilizing an agile delivery framework.
Other:
• Plan and execute technical implementation activities by defining and performing the appropriate quality control processes related to testing, validation, and deployment efforts.
• Support change management responsibilities such as providing training and support to end-users on Contingent Worker Management, IAM policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Address user inquiries and issues related to Workday Contingent Worker management, end to end access management and downstream integrations.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the business and technology landscape.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a technology lead in the Workday hiring, onboarding and offboarding functions.
• Certification and minimum 2 years experience with Workday Extend platform build and delivery is a must.
• Minimum 2 years experience managing contingent worker populations within Workday
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, with excellent project management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio for documentation and presentations. Good communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $138,000-$167,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
