Systems & Workflow - Workflow Integration - Senior Manager

SPE's Workflow Integration team within the Distribution & Content Services (DCS) Systems and Workflow group drives technological systems development and integration in service of SPE's end-to-end digital media supply chain. This team acts as the bridge between the needs of the business and our partners in IT to unlock new and enhance existing ways of shepherding media from creation through to distribution. The Senior Manager Workflow Integration will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise and support in strategizing production, post-production, mastering, and distribution related systems and processes in support in alignment with the larger SPE media supply chain strategy. This role will also be responsible for the execution and initial management of new supply chain processes, including hand off to studio stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
• Manage projects, initiatives, and integrations related to SPEs internal digital media supply chain; Media ingest, transformation, orchestration, tracking, and media asset library platform.
• Lead and/or participate in the development of functional requirements and technical specifications. Develop training materials and host live trainings.
• Draft user stories in JIRA for supply chain development, participating in Agile ceremonies, create and communicate deployment schedules of new system features to relevant stakeholders.
• Support the business planning and implement recommended media supply chain enhancements, systems, outsourced solutions, and workflow improvements.
• Manage stakeholder engagement at a senior level and have the ability to communicate technical stories to multiple audiences, tailoring the message to the appropriate audience.
• Manage the onboarding of DCS vendors/partners to SPE's internal media ingest platform.

Preferred Years of Experience & Education:
• 5+ Production, Post-Production, or Distribution technical operations experience
• 5+ Digital media supply chain technology, implementation/projects/operations
• 5+ Digital media standards development, implementation, and enforcement

Preferred Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
• Working knowledge of Post-Production, Distribution, Archival, and Restoration workflows.
• Proven experience in media management, and familiarity with digital formats commonly used within a studio environment.
• Experience in development and implementation of digital asset management policy, asset preservation strategy, and any required change management/training.
• Understanding of common industry tools and production practices.
• Work with internal studio stakeholders and Development teams to contribute/inform the design systems to serve production/post-production needs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables with experience in agile methodologies, change management, and business partnering.
• Ability to translate technical jargon into layman terms.
• Experience participating in Agile technology or operational program preferred.
• Ability to develop and nurture long-standing relationships with media operational teams, business stakeholders, and IT/IS partners.
