This Spring Trainee position is from January through May 30th (start and end dates are flexible based on your schedule) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in the specified location. This type of opportunity will jump-start your career and prepare you for a career in the desired field. This is not a remote role. A hybrid work option may or may not be available.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
The Recruiting Trainee will help support the Talent Acquisition team and gain experience with full cycle recruitment in the pre-production pipeline of Animation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work alongside the Talent Coordinator to schedule interviews as requested
• Interface with candidates, ensuring a positive process for scheduling and interviews
• Provide administrative support which includes but is not limited to tracking candidate records, maintenance of department files and creating and maintaining reports
• Organize Recruiting events and attend job fairs/conventions as needed
• Support online hiring presence and assist with social media recruitment focused content
• Support University Relations efforts which may include preparing for, attending school events
• Handle special projects as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent written & oral communication skills
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Keynote & Photoshop)
• MAC proficient
• Must be detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize, ensuring all assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Must be flexible – an ability to work in an environment where needs and priorities are subject to much revision
• Must be a self-starter with a team-player attitude
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1 to 2 years of experience working in Production or Recruiting, preferably in an animation environment or related field (internships included)
The anticipated base salary for this position is $22/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
