Job Description
The Coordinator, Production & US Immigration Services will provide support to Production and US Immigration executive for the TV production group within Sony Pictures Television. The ideal candidate has experience in production and with US immigration and O-1 visa process or, has experience reading and composing legal documents and is eager to learn the visa procedures. The position also provides a broad range of production related administrative responsibilities, making the position multi-faceted.

If you are an articulate, motivated, adaptable, professional multitasking team player who follows through routinely, who has excellent listening and communication skills, able to coordinate, track, organize, and execute with detail to completion, deals with tight deadlines as well as last minute changes and able to pivot calmly, this position may be for you. Reports to the Executive Director, Production and US Immigration, based in Culver City, CA.

Responsibilities
• Will help collect, prepare, submit, and track all required paperwork for visa applications
• Will review documents with Executive Director to learn the process and policies of US Immigration and production
• Will work with Executive Director and eventually outside counsel, as needed, to follow through on all visa items
• Will work with accounting/finance when submitting payments/check requests for outside counsel and visa related fees, ensure payments are made in real time, as well as to obtain production related information to best support the Executive Director on all drama productions
• Will work within production department to track and maintain production schedules and contacts for multiple shows
• Will help create and send documents to various productions as well as track the Executive Director's daily workflow and approvals
• Will maintain calendar and arrange meetings/calls when necessary

Qualifications
• Prior experience in the visa/immigration field, 2+ years preferred
• Strong working knowledge of USCIS visa process and related topics or deep interest in learning and able to retain information
• Prior experience in production
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Deals well with all personalities with control and professionalism
• Entertainment experience preferred, but not required
• Proficient with Mac and tech savvy

The anticipated base salary for this position is $23.31/hour to $30.30/hour. This role may also qualify for incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
