Coordinator, Digital Marketing - Distribution

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is looking for a curious, social-savvy, and collaborative Digital Marketing Coordinator. Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager, you will play a fundamental role in supporting the Distribution Marketing and Sales team with the promotion of Sony Pictures New Release and Catalogue titles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Management & Marketing Support
• Participate in regular new release lifecycle brainstorm sessions with members of the Marketing team
• Source media assets via US Marketing Teams and internal creative database
• Manage the localization of campaign creative in accordance with SPHE's consumer messaging strategy
• Traffic campaign creative to external agencies across all new release and catalogue campaigns
• Contribute to the curation of our brand presence in the market via SPHE-owned channels (i.e., B2C landing pages, newsletters, social)
• Liaise with the Marketing and the US Internet Services Team to populate and publish new release and catalogue landing pages on SPE's B2C site
• Liaise with the Theatrical, Television, and Home Entertainment Marketing team to manage the monthly newsletter distribution
• Build and send the monthly new release, catalogue, and feature film-specific e-mails within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Liaise with US Social team to build and maintain a Canadian social content calendar for upcoming new releases
• Execute the publishing of social content across platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram
• Coordinate the delivery of new releases and franchise-branded merchandise to external agencies
• Assist with ad-hoc publicity requests, when required
• Work closely with senior members of the team to pull reports and aggregate information for special projects

Account Management & Trade Marketing
• Own the sourcing, management, and delivery of SPE creative assets needed across retail partners and agencies, including creating and sending monthly new release asset package e-mails, managing artwork deliveries to client FTP sites, and facilitating ad-hoc creative requests
• Own the development of monthly sales decks and pitches that are customized to fit client objectives across all lines of business
• Own the development & communication of monthly title drafting pitches to AVOD clients
• Update key partner marketing resources and campaign documents including new release go-to-market presentation decks, best practice overviews, and one-sheets
• Liaise with external creative agencies to build custom assets for clients
• Required to keep up to date with all SPE feature films, as well as the most marketable television products
• Become well-versed in the Home Entertainment and streaming landscape (Canadian digital and physical retailers, streaming and AVOD partners)
• Become well-versed in the entertainment/studio landscape by actively monitoring competitive titles and campaign performance

General Administration
• Manage the sourcing of promotion material orders
• Coordinate the delivery of features product swag and posters to clients to support new releases
• Own the planning and execution of internal and client new release screenings
• Manage the scheduling of internal Marketing and Sales meetings
• Act as general support to the TV Distribution team, when needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 1-2 years of professional experience ideally at an advertising, media agency or media company
• Bachelor's degree with a major or concentration in marketing, social media, or a similar field
• An understanding of content management & publishing across social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment, collaborating across multiple internal and external teams
• Strong project management skills with sharp attention to detail
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
• Be self-reliant and able to implement and manage tasks independently
• Have a can-do positive attitude and desire to get things done
• Strong written and communication skills, with outstanding presentation and relationship-building skills
• Strong appreciation and knowledge of content across the Film and TV landscape
• Working knowledge of Microsoft-based software: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Basic understanding of web and social analytics
• Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop
• Basic understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Knowledge of innovative platforms and content trends in the social & digital space
