Assoc Manager, Global ISO Systems

Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) is a subsidiary of Sony Corporation of America, a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Sony Corporation. SPE's global operations encompass motion picture production and distribution; television production and distribution; home entertainment acquisition and distribution; a global channel network; digital content creation and distribution; operation of studio facilities; development of new entertainment products, services, and technologies; and distribution of entertainment in 159 countries.

SPE is accepting applications for a Global ISO Systems Manager to support our ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System. This role will oversee the issuance and compliance of our global ISO system for various facilities. This is done to enhance our environmental performance, systematically manage environmental responsibilities, improve employee safety, reduce workplace risk, and create safer working conditions. The candidate will be a self-starter with excellent time management skills who has demonstrated knowledge in the field and the ability to manage essential tasks across several sites. The candidate will also be able to handle large quantities of data and identify opportunities for improvement and growth. This position is based at the SPE corporate offices located in Culver City.

Primary Responsibilities
• Guarantee the requirements of the ISO 14001/45001 International Standard are being met and that the organization is achieving the desired results.
• Complete initial risk assessments, develop relationships with site personnel, and confirm the availability of resources for ISO sites.
• Onboard new facilities that fall within the ISO required scope defined by Sony Group Corporation. Provide sites information, training, and onboarding templates.
• Lead the annual global management meetings and survey the local teams to determine suitability of resources
• Oversee the management of change program required by ISO 45001.
• As global policies and procedures change, the role is responsible for informing and training (as applicable) sites, and ensuring global and local documentation is updated.
• Ensure duties, roles, and responsibilities are assigned at each site.
• Oversee the creation of documents and reports in association with audits, core ISO standards, and corrective action plans. Review all documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established deliverables and standards.
• Communicate with all appropriate stakeholders, internal and external, including executive management, regarding project status, timeline, and budget.
• Implement systematic reviews to ensure the structure continues suitability, adequate, and effective. Ensure management systems fit within the organization, its operations, culture, and business environment.
• Oversee the audit review process at all sites by centrally collecting required documents, creating interview schedules, coordinating audit report reviews, and communicating audit findings to stakeholders, under the requirements of the internal or external review process.
• Liaison with Sony Group to ensure that audit requirements are completed per the site audit schedule. Provide data and evidence for SGC's annual audit.
• Verify each site is implementation a corrective action procedure and preventative actions necessary to achieve planned results.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required; business or environmental science background preferred; master's degree, additional sustainability, business or project management certifications, or licenses are a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in ISO systems, sustainability, safety, and/or project management
• Ability to work effectively both individually and as a team
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and project management skills
• Interest and skills in problem-solving, creative thinking, and handling a variety of tasks
• Adept in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (Visio and SharePoint are also helpful)

Knowledge & Skill Requirements
• Completed ISO certification training courses
• Project management experience
• Strong analytical, business process improvement, and problem-solving capabilities
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
• Talent for building and managing cross-functional relationships and teams
• Experience with stakeholder engagement and serving as a liaison between internal and external partners
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and use sound judgment to make business decisions

Highly motivated and results-oriented work ethic

The anticipated base salary for this position is $78,100 to $103,500. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
