We are actively seeking a dynamic, dedicated and responsible General Manager to lead the operations of the Cocomelon Playdate and Retail Store in collaboration with our dedicated management team. In this pivotal role, the chosen candidate will take charge of various responsibilities, including operational oversight, visual merchandising, creating a culture of consistent guest satisfaction, fostering enthusiastic employee morale, ensuring adherence to safety and health protocols, and actively contributing to the achievement of quarterly sales goals. The General Manager will report directly to the Retail District Manager, playing a key role in driving the success of our retail venture.

What you'll do:

Guest Experience:
• Leading the team to have a consistent high level of guest service to create a memorable experience while ensuring all operations and safety procedures are being followed
• Create an environment that fosters our SHINE philosophy (Showing up, Having Fun, Inclusivity, No negativity, Enthusiasm)

Leadership & Team Development:
• Leader in creating an inclusive, respectful, positive workplace to increase employee retention
• Inspiring your team as a Leader in the store, always leading by example
• Creating a team that is flexible and open to change
• Recruiting and onboarding of team members
• Responsible for the training and development of the Management team and all staff members
• Accountability for all team members
Operations & Visuals:
• Directly oversee retail store management: guest service, operations, store visuals, inventory, loss prevention, opening and closing procedures, store staff management, strategic staff scheduling
• Directly oversee play center management: high level of guest experience expectations, safety and health procedures, ticketing management, consistency in employee performance, party and event planning organization and management, inventory and supplies management
• Scheduling and payroll management
• Initiating the maintenance and upkeep of the experience
• Gathering and documenting employee and guest incidents

Communication:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Daily and weekly recaps of store and experience highlights and areas of opportunity
• Quick responses to emails and messaging apps
• Open and honest communication with all members of the team and upper management
• Is open to feedback and is comfortable giving feedback when necessary

Who you are:
• 3-5 years of Store Manager or General Manager experience in one or more of the following fields: retail, hospitality, family entertainment centers.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and can lawfully work in the United States.
• Flexible schedule available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Passionate about working with young children and their families, making every minute count.
• Expertly organized with high level of detail
• Time management expert
• Solution oriented
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude
• Visual Merchandising experience
• Must be able to lift or carry items weighing between 0-50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat during scheduled shifts.
• Bi-lingual is a plus
• Consent to a background check after job o er is extended
