As a Build Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining the systems that support and automate the various processes involved in game development. You will manage the hardware resources (machines) as well as the software resources linked to these processes, and work in close collaboration with our other Activision studios and external partners.

• Be able to navigate the unknown: solve sophisticated problems and find solutions adapted to the needs of the studio and its projects.
• Demonstrate a seasoned professional maturity, a desire to surpass oneself and show resourcefulness to improve existing technologies.
• Develop and maintain the software required to automate the build process.
• Supervise, configure, and coordinate the build system and its hardware and software components, and be highly involved in resolving build system issues that arise.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify system improvement and automation opportunities.
• Develop new tools and/or scripts to build, as determined by the requirements of the projects underway at our studio, and coordinate and conduct the release process of the game.
• Works closely with our IT team and support end users.
To succeed you should have…
• 5+ years of professional programming experience focused on build and automation
• Proficiency in various tools and languages, including: Python, Go, C#, C/C++, Puppet (or other configuration management tool), Jenkins, MSBuild, SN-DBS, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, perforce.
• Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and versatility.
• A positive demeanor and good adaptability.
• Passion for video games.
