We work hands-on with each artist to craft a unique sound built around original music, social media strategy, and streaming success. Skyline’s rapid growth has been exciting—but it’s also created growing pains. As demand increases, we’re at a point where expanding our team is essential. To keep delivering high-quality music and providing wonderful label support to our artists, we’re looking for dedicated help to legitimize and scale the label’s operations while staying true to our creative mission.

Role Description

Skyline Records is seeking a Part-Time Record Label Assistant (10–20 hours/week) based in the Nashville Metropolitan Area. This role is a key support position that works directly with the label’s president and touches all aspects of the label’s operations. We're looking for someone driven, creative, organized, and passionate about music who can help us continue to grow our presence and support our artists. The role will include, but is not limited to:

• Manage and grow the label’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
• Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks and project coordination
• Help plan and execute single and album release strategies
• Design or coordinate creation of album and single artwork, and visual content for social media
• Prepare and upload metadata for new releases across platforms
• Draft and distribute press releases
• Coordinate with radio stations and playlist curators
• Assist with merchandise design, production, and inventory
• Help document and refine internal systems and workflows

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in bluegrass, americana, and country music (i.e. Billy Strings, Alison Krauss, Zach Top, etc.)
• Strong interest in music business, social media, and label administration
• Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Creative mindset with an eye for engaging content and branding
• Experience with social media marketing and content creation
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Experience in the music industry or legal/admin setting is a plus
• Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and social platforms
• Familiarity with digital distribution and music metadata is a plus
