As a Junior Support Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing tickets/incidences and customer requests.
Responsibilities
• Manages Windows 10 and Rocky Linux (users, permissions, policies, local storage, Install apps, etc.).
• Performs the installation, support and maintenance of the servers, computer systems and wireless and local area networks.
• Performs the installation, configuration, layout and maintenance of hardware and software equipment.
• Solves, manages and documents customer queries, tickets and requests and develops other departmental administrative tasks.
• Solves most tickets in the first contact and otherwise escalates it.
• Configure mobile devices.
• Performs scripts in different languages (Power Shell, Python and VB Script) to improve and maintain the environment.
• Tests internal developments.
• Monitors and updates the inventory of hardware and software.
• Ensures that the quality standards required for the support service are met.
• Assists other team members, when necessary.
• Follows Supervisor's and Lead´s guidance.
Requirements
• At least 2 year of professional experience in IT departments.
• Experience with logging tools and ticketing management.
• Experience in design, installation, diagnosis and maintenance of local area networks, wireless networks, network electronics and IT security.
• Knowledge and experience in the integration of new applications and new hardware in user equipment and inventory maintenance.
• Knowledge and experience in different OS: LINUX (Rocky, CentOS, Ubuntu), OS X, Windows, Windows Server.
• Medium English level required.
• Spanish desirable.
