This role calls on the largest national independent and library jobbers for our Distribution Client publishers selling to Ingram Book Company and Baker & Taylor. Gross sales for 2020 totaled $38.6 million Gross. This is a high profile position that requires a knowledgeable National Account Manager with strong communication and organization skills.

In this position, the National Account Manager is required to sell in all Distribution Client titles and keep estimates updated in our system. They must analyze sales on a weekly basis and manage efficiencies keep returns at a minimum. The sales rep must provide regular feedback on sales through written updates, sales call preparation and post-call follow-up meetings with their manager and with the Clients. The sales manager must create and maintain strong relationships with the Buying and Marketing Staff and each of the above accounts and with our Distribution Clients. This position requires monthly Sales Calls to Baker & Taylor in Bridgewater, NJ, and Semi Seasonal Sales Calls to Ingram in Nashville, TN 3-4 times a year.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and data driven. Previous experience selling to Ingram and Baker & Taylor is highly preferred. 3-4 years of sales experience in the publishing industry is required.
