Job Description
Sesame Workshop is looking to hire a Paperwork Production Assistant to assist with onboarding cast and crew members for the upcoming season of Sesame Street. This role will be part of the production management department which handles the finances of our productions.
Please note: This is a temporary role working 40 hours a week that will go on till mid-March. This is an important entry-level position that will work both remotely and at Kaufman Astoria Studios in Astoria, Queens. Max rate is $20.60 per hour
Responsibilities:
• Provides and obtains digital onboarding packages for cast and crew members prior to the first day of employment
• Utilizes Cast and Crew Start+ software, AdobeSign, and/or TiM for digital onboarding and archive retention (Sesame will train the right candidate)
• Communicates with cast and crew members shepherding them through the onboarding process
• Works closely with Production Accounting, Production Management, Human Resources, and Payroll
• Inspects each cast and crew member's I-9 Form identification for expiration
• Manages the onboarding grid to track the status of each cast and crew member on the show
• Communicates and problem-solve issues with Management as they arise
• Assists with paperwork such as Petty Cash and Travel Reimbursements
• Creates Production Reports for the Production Manager
• Special Projects as directed

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Prefer at least 1 year+ of work in TV Production Management, Production, Accounting, or Office Administration
• Must be willing to test for Covid regularly and comply with Sesame's Mandatory Production Vaccination Policy and all required Covid protocols
• Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
