Job Description
Scripps Networks is looking for a Business Development Director. They'll be responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities, building relationships with key partners, and driving revenue growth. The Business Development Director will work closely with our platforms, ad tech, and sales teams to expand our client base and foster long-term partnerships that align with the company's strategic goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Develop and execute business strategies.
• Identify new business opportunities and formulate strategies to acquire 3rd party sports supply/play-by-play sports supply, and other premium audience extension inventories.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with retail partners, brands, and third-party vendors to develop and manage mutually beneficial retail media network partnerships.
• Serve as point of contact for key partners, understanding goals and objectives, and ensuring proper alignment with company inventory and partnership strategies.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure platform success, from concept through execution, and provide insights to drive business decisions.
• Stay informed on the latest retail media network technologies, platforms, and trends to identify new opportunities and best practices.
• Assist in the development of long-term strategies to enhance the retail media network's offerings, ensuring competitiveness and differentiation in the market.
• Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities with new partners, improving ad products, and leveraging audience insights.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
• BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred
• Generally, 10+ years of experience in related field preferred
• Requires 30% travel

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
• Strong understanding of digital media advertising platforms, programmatic advertising, and retail media networks.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of eCommerce
• Proficiency in SSPs (Supply-Side Platforms), DSPs (Demand-Side Platforms), DMPs (Data Management Platforms + other relevant media platforms.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

COMPENSATION RANGE:
Annual Salary: $180,000.00 - 200000

Pursuant to state and local salary transparency laws, the salary range posted is specific to candidates who will perform this work in New York.
