STAR Complex Senior Event Coordinator (FT)

This position is responsible for the successful implementation of all field rentals and events held at STAR Complex. Due to varying event times and days, this role requires a flexible schedule to accommodate scheduled events. Results should reflect in quality relations with guests, facility tenants, vendors, and event promoters. This role should exhibit effective business practices conducive to the general mission, goals, objectives and values of Spurs Sports and Entertainment. The successful candidate will manage and service a diverse group of important clients, visitors, and internal contacts at all levels. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.
What You'll Do:
• Coordinates resources and logistics for all STAR Complex Events including, but not limited to advancing event needs with both internal and external clients, FOH and BOH staffing requirements, event resources and logistics, event estimates and event settlements.
• Serves as the liaison between the facility and its clients, ensuring all elements of clients' events are thoroughly vetted among the departments while insuring adherence to all appropriate regulations and policies.
• Inspects and evaluates complex readiness in preparation for all internal and external STAR Complex Events and follow up with internal/external contacts on any requested needs or last-minute changes.
• Assists with preparing contracts, invoices and collecting payment and other documents required for STAR Complex field rentals and events.
• Maintains and verifies that records are kept up to date including calendars, event briefs, pre/post event inspections/reports to ensure proper and timely coordination of events.
• Work with SAFC Sr Manager of Event Services to create weekly and monthly work schedules to ensure all events at STAR Complex are correctly staffed.
• Serve as the liaison between STAR Complex and SAFC staff for all things pertaining to STAR Complex
• Actively help with the booking of events at STAR Complex
• Coordinates resources and logistics for Dark Day Events at TF including, but not limited to advancing event needs with both internal and external clients, FOH and BOH staffing requirements, event resources and logistics, event estimates and event settlements.

Who You Are:
• Minimum one year of related full-time work experience preferable in event/facility coordination or project management.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in business, facility management, hospitality management, marketing or related field. Or eq
• Excellent interpersonal skills; tenacious work ethic and strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assigned work. Flexible and creative when dealing with last-minute requests/changes with events.
• Must be able to complete projects on schedule with a minimum amount of supervision and direction.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects and events simultaneously but still be a part of a team, assisting co-workers and managers as needed.
• Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• 30% of work able to be performed remotely, 70% of work needed to be performed onsite; percentage is adjustable based on assigned event workload.
• A proven track record of successful project coordination in all areas of event services.
• Proficiency in MS Windows and Office Suite is required.
• Must be able to work outside in the elements for the duration of the assigned shift.
• Ability to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
