Event Security Coordinator (FT)

The Event Security Coordinator will assist in the planning of security operation and protocols for events at the Frost Bank Center and Toyota Field. This position reports to the Senior Manager Event Security and helps ensure the highest level of standards are being carried out.

The Event Security Coordinator will provide administrative assistance and support to the security management team through productive organization skills, strong verbal and written communication while demonstrating diplomacy.

All SS&E Security personal are required to obtain a Level II Non-Commissioned Security License from the Texas Department of Public Safety within the first 90 days of employment. The pay increase is contingent on obtaining a Level II Non-Commissioned Security License AND fulfilling 90 days of employment. Failure to obtain a Level II Non-Commissioned Security License within the first 90 days may result in termination of employment.

What You'll Do: 
• Coordinates and confirms schedules with part time event security staff.
• Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
• Support with new hire process by creating/distributing new hire packets, communicates and logs training dates, and tracks new hire progress.
• Tracks part time event security staff attendance (call offs, tardies, dropped shifts).
• Maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines.
• Mentors new staff as their point of contact for their first 90 days by checking in, answering questions, and accepting feedback.
• Files documents into the appropriate staff member file.
• Create deployment sheets, sign in sheets, and event briefing sheets for each event at Frost Bank Center and Toyota Field.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:  
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year of scheduling experience is required.
• Ability to possess and maintain a State Security license within the first 90 days of employment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer software programs.
• Ability to work long hours, flexible hours including evenings, weekends, overnight and holidays.
• Capacity to be able to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift with the ability to lift, carry and move a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to meet dress standards. As a representative of Spurs Sports & Entertainment, dress standards are highly reflective of our brand.
