Responsibilities

What You'll Do

To research, collect, forecast, and analyze information in connection with financing, production and distribution of independently produced entertainment. Additionally, assist with the management, administration and compliance of Financial Assurances vehicles designed to secure residuals earning streams for Union members.

• Completion of tasks, assignments and projects, as delegated by the Director of FA
• Compliance & Strategic Planning primarily in the administration of agreements governing various financial accounts and department support.
• Research and forecast financial obligations consistent with film and television distribution trends and provide calculations to intradepartmental partners.
• Work individually and collaboratively with various departments, specifically IT to create, edit and monitor reporting systems and dashboards
• Analyze, forecast and assess exhibition release dates for theatrical, new media and television
• Execute and record daily transactional activities, monitor account compliance and main routine data updates.
• Assist management with assessing shifts in financially responsible parties and
• Performs other duties as assigned or as the situation

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Proficient in data-management methods and systems
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite
• Able to interpret and comprehend legal agreements and contractual terms
• Able to interpret data patterns and make inferences regarding best administrative practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including data analysis challenges
• Comfortable managing large spreadsheets and data sets
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to cultivate strategic and collaborative relationships, both internally and externally

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of work experience in a data analysis or contract administration role, preferably within the entertainment industry, or total equivalent years of relevant work

PREFERRED BACKGROUND:
• Proficiency in Qlik Sense Analytics or similar database aggregator software tools.
• Research experience
• Knowledge of Adobe, Documentum, Oracle, IMDb and Lexis Nexis is a
• Knowledge in film finance and distribution structures or any financial assurances experience would be strongly considered.
