Job Description

The Senior Learning & Development Partner will report to the Director of L&D and partner closely with Riots Department Leaders to execute a comprehensive strategy to develop critical capabilities across our products. The incumbent will play a critical role in identifying and designing learning solutions that meet both the unique and cross functional needs of Riots five departments. Additionally, they will need to work collaboratively with the broader learning team, the people team, and stakeholders across the business, to execute an interconnected talent strategy that advances riot-wide goals.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with the assigned department leads to understand critical capability needs through assessment & skill gap analysis to inform learning priorities.
• Demonstrate strategic and critical thinking capabilities and be able to translate those strategies and ideas into meaningful actions and execute them effectively.
• Conduct the needs analysis and participate in the design of learning solutions in partnership with other Central L&D programs, Talent initiatives, and the business, employing innovative learning solutions.
• Plan, organize, prioritize, and effectively manage multiple complex learning initiatives concurrently within a fast-paced environment.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of discipline or craft learning programs and regularly report out progress toward.
• Actively participate in cross-functional teams to support the rollout of large-scale learning initiatives.
• Serve as a credible and trusted advisor on effective, leading-edge learning strategies.
• Partner closely with L&D peers, Department leadership, Craft SMEs, Talent Management and HR business partners to ensure successful delivery of all committed work.
• Utilize existing partnerships and internal resources to develop, design, source, and deploy courses, programs, and resources to enable critical craft capabilities (classroom, virtual, eLearning, MOOC, etc.) that directly impact Riot's product outcomes.
• Negotiate services, costs, and manage vendors and providers. Interact with others in areas such as risk management, accounting, finance and legal disciplines to determine feasibility regarding cost, risk to the company, and possible legal effects.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years experience with consulting with Leaders, and business stakeholders, knowledge of how to develop learning strategies, facilitation and design experience in partnership with subject matter experts.
• Strong presentation skills
• Proven ability to Facilitate learning, consult, and communicate effectively with senior leaders, and executives.

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience in a similar role at a fast-growing tech company, Consultant, or HR Business partner.
• MBA, or Education Graduate Degree
• Experience with Craft/Technical training
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (Workday) is a plus

• (Los Angeles Only) Base salary range between $127,300.00 - $179,000.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
