Role Overview:

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role as a key Finance Business Partner, fostering collaboration and driving strategic decision-making across the organisation.

You'll be a key player in a recently globalised team, established with the common purpose of supporting SIE's business in a collective and efficient manner. You'll work closely with SIE's corporate functions such as HR, Legal, Facilities, ESG, and Finance, with primary focus on the Europe region. Your goal will be to deliver actionable insights, champion financial best practices, and support continuous improvement in processes and systems to drive business success.

As a trusted financial partner, you will provide expert analysis, challenge assumptions, and collaborate with leadership to develop strategies that align with organisational goals. By fostering strong relationships and leveraging data-driven insights, you'll ensure the company achieves its financial and non-financial objectives.

What You'll Be Doing:

Strategic Financial Planning & Business Partnering:
• Collaborate with budget owners to prepare, review, and analyse bottom-up budgets and forecasts.
• Provide strategic recommendations, challenge assumptions, and ensure data integrity.
• Act as a trusted advisor, delivering insights into key business drivers and influencing decision-making.

Reporting & Analysis:
• Lead the preparation of budget presentations, monthly financial reports, and consolidated results for leadership.
• Conduct detailed analysis of trends, risks, and opportunities, ensuring accountability across departments.
• Create financial models and perform ad-hoc analyses, such as ROI assessments and scenario planning.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Manage relationships with business stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment on financial objectives and priorities.
• Partner with the Accounting team to ensure seamless month-end reporting and data integrity.
• Facilitate monthly and quarterly financial reviews with budget owners, anticipating challenges and driving proactive solutions.

Continuous Improvement:
• Recommend and implement process enhancements, automating reporting and driving efficiencies.
• Support global standardisation efforts to align financial practices across regions.

Core Responsibilities:
• Consolidate and report on key KPIs such as HC, OPEX, CapEx, and fixed asset tracking.
• Liaise between regional business teams and global finance functions to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial insights to support long-term strategic planning.

What We're Looking For:

Experience as a Financial Business Parnert/Senior Analyst
• Strategic Thinker: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Effective Communicator: Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-Starter: Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
• Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems (e.g., Workday Adaptive and HR, SAP, Power BI, Tableau).
• Industry Knowledge: Interest or experience in media, entertainment, or gaming industries.
• Qualifications:
• High-calibre qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with years of proven experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance or related fields.
