Job Description
Manager, Imprint Sales - (Open to remote)

As the primary Special Markets contact for select publishing imprints, the Imprint Sales Manager acts as a liaison between sales and publishing to position titles, identify priorities, maximize sales, and surface trends, opportunities, and account updates.

The Imprint Sales Manager also serves as the department representative at launches, sales conferences, marketing, editorial, and other publisher meetings. 

Responsibilities:
• Partner with publishers to set priorities for the channel, report on sales trends, and provide account feedback.
• Advocate for Special Markets' sales needs in publishing team meetings
• Communicate publisher priorities and create sales strategies in partnership with Special Markets representatives and department channel heads
• Research and set Special Markets title sales estimates for publishing print runs and reprints
• Explore sales analytics and consumer insights to provide reps with sales strategies and opportunities for growth across our entire list of titles
• Collaborate with other Imprint Sales Managers to highlight key categories and themes across publishing groups
• Organize and frame titles for Special Markets' twice-yearly sales conferences
• Create sales reports and marketplace updates for publishers
• Coordinate inventory needs, marketing and publicity requests, and other approvals with publishers

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience; publishing sales and/or marketing experience is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external colleagues across all levels of an organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time
• Strong interest in Special Markets accounts and marketplace
• Flexible with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to think and problem solve creatively
• Proven ability to work well under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $73,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
