Associate Director - (Remote)

This Associate Director position works with the PRH Kids Indie Sales team to identify opportunities to increase business at indie accounts, manage estimates for PYR, RHC and PRHPS and coordinate with Sales Director on ABA tasks including, but not limited to, Indie programs and various trade shows. This job requires someone highly skilled at excel, power Bi and other internal systems along with having knowledge of our title list. This role will help us elevate indie programs and maximize growth opportunities, both on an account level and for the PRH Kids Indie market overall.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify opportunities to increase business at indie accounts using PRH systems and tracking trends in the indie marketplace. This will include analyzing category and regional reports, participating in brainstorming sessions and using key takeaways to work on ways to generate additional orders from accounts.

2. Manage OTIS estimating process for PYR, RHC and PRHPS including frontlist, backlist and displays

3. Work with Sales Director on ABA tasks including, but not limited to, indie programs and various trade shows

4. Create targeted Edelweiss collections and coordinate with marketing on other assets for reps to use for pitching to accounts

5. Attend department meetings as representative of indie field sales including list launch, alignment, market strategy and weekly marketplace meetings

6. Manage assistant for PRH Kids Sales Team

Requirements:
• Minimum of 6 years prior related sales or publishing experience; direct selling experience a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent product knowledge and understanding of publishing functions
• Superb presentation skills
• Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Strong analytical skills including the ability to create and run reports, analyze data, and communicate key findings/opportunities
• Proactive and able to problem solve and adapt within a rapidly evolving environment
• Must be a self-starter and self-motivated, but with the ability and willingness to work in a team environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and PowerBI
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time via train, plane, car

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
